History

1936 – Quinns of Baltinglass Ltd. starts trading on Main Street Baltinglass

1959 – Quinns acquire the West Wicklow Hotel and rename it Quinns Corner Bar

1961 – Grain Yard opened on Mill Street Baltinglass

1962 – Quinns expand by acquiring the next door O’Neills bar, extending the presence on Main Street

1988 – More expansion on Main Street – the original business is split into a Supermarket and neighbouring Bar

1989 – Quinns Drapery opened above the Supermarket – run by Kathleen Quinn

1993 – Quinns Superstore opens in Baltinglass – 20,000 sq foot of Agri, DIY, Build

1995 – Athy Superstore opened

1999 – Naas Grain Depot and Agri Store opened

2000 – Avoca agri store opened

2002 – Lewistown – state of the art grain Intake yard opened

2010 – Milford and Geashill Agri Stores opened

2010 – Baltinglass Superstore revamped and rebranded Topline Quinns

2011 – Topline Quinns named Hardware Store of the Year

2011 – Quinns celebrate 75 Years in business

2013 – Quinns Bar on Main Street ceases trading after 77 years. This is to make way for an enlarged QUINNS SPAR in Summer 2013

2013 – Athy Superstore completely revamped, extended and rebranded Quinns Agri Store

2014 – Coarse Ration Feed Mill awarded UFAS certification as well as Bord Bia Certification

2015 – Quinns win inaugural Agri Business Awards “Agricultural Merchant of the Year” Award 2015

2016 – Celebrating 80 years in business – 1936-2016

2017 – Opening of the Feed Pelleting Plant in Baltinglass

2019 – Rebrandibg Topline Quinns to Quinns Superstore

2020 – Upstairs at Quinns closes after 30 years of trading
