Warehouse Operative- Goods In (Full-time) Quinns Superstore

 

 Agri Counter Sales, Baltinglass

Duties

• Provide Advice & support to farmers on a wide range of farm inputs
• Stock control and merchandising
• Support the branch manager with the daily running of the store
• Provide technical back up and support to farmers
• Merchandising & stock control
• Generating new ideas and promotions for the store
• Evaluate a customer’s needs and build productive long lasting relationships
• Making sure the shop floor runs smoothly

Candidate profile

Showing a real passion for customer focus, innovation, and ability to make tough decisions will enable you to thrive in a role that is challenging and demanding – achieving targets for business growth, increased sales, operating standards, and colleague development and performance.

• Sales focused with proven sales experience
• 3rd Level degree in Agriculture would be an advantage
• Ambitious with strong communication & interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritise work

Warehouse Operative- Goods In (Baltinglass, Co Wicklow)

Job Overview

Quinns of Baltinglass are looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative for our busy hardware & agri yard in Quinns Superstore. This Topline store expands over 25,000 Sq ft serving hardware, building and Agri customers. This is a full-time permanent role.

This position offers the opportunity to join a busy and fast paced retail store that has won numerous awards and accolades in recent years. Reporting to the store manager you will be responsible for the following;

Duties

  • Responsible for the day to day running of a busy goods-in warehouse
  • Receiving and processing stock efficiently and accurately
  • Managing stock levels ensuring stock accuracy
  • Booking in orders, reviewing orders against purchase orders, and liaise with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure discrepancies are rectified in a timely manner

Candidate profile

 

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a warehouse or goods-in role
  • Current valid forklift licence (Counterbalance) and manual handling cert are required
  • Organised and efficient
  • Excellent I.T. and administration skills
  • High attention to detail
